Risk assessment
Above I have completed a risk assessment table to show the risks that may come with filming a production. I have completed it so I am able to weigh out risks and any actions I need to take to prevent any accidents/incidents happening when my filming takes place, it also allows me to weigh up the level of risk and if it will be a major or minor issue for me and my team. I have presented this information in a table because it is clear and easy for me to follow as well as being professional and effective. I feel as though by completing this piece of pre-production it will have a positive impact on my short film as it allows both me and my peers to be safe and allows us to take any necessary actions to prevent any incidents, it shows I am using initiative and care.

Evidence of changing speed
Here is evidence of me changing the speed of a clip, I changed the speed of two of my clips to create effect. The music behind these particular clips were of quite a slow pace therefore I wanted the video clip to match the pace. If the clip was too fast for the music then the effect would be lost. With changing speed it also creates variety within my work - I did this by using final cut express.

Evidence of lighting techniques
Above is proof of me using lighting techniques, for this particular clip I went in an extremely dark room and simply took the flashlight on my iPhone and shone it just behind the camera to create shadows - this shows that to create effect and mood I do not have to have complex equipment, I can use equipment I already have to hand - it's about how I use the equipment to make it effective which I feel i accomplished.

Evidence of SFX
Here I have inserted proof of me including SFX within my short film. I have used the 'echo' filter, I have done this to create a more eerie feel within my production - the genre of my short film is a thriller therefore I needed effects and filters to match this genre. If no special effects were included within my short film it would be left quite bare and not reaching its full potential. As we know, professional films use a full range of SFX, therefore I know from seeing examples it is essential that I do the same.

Evidence of sourcing Royalty Free Sounds
Above I have inserted a screengrab of proof of me sourcing Royalty Free Sounds, I had to source these to add effect to my short film. Royalty Free Sounds help to enhance sound but also add greater effect to my short film, for example above I have sourced footsteps for one of my scenes - without these the natural sound of footsteps in my film may not be portrayed effectively.

Evidence of importing footage
Above is a screenshot of where I have imported all of my footage to my 'raw footage' folder that I created - I did this because I needed all of my footage to be in one accessible place - I then went on to organise them further. Organisation is a huge part within pre-production - without organisation I would find it extremely difficult to keep track of what clips I need and don't need, it enables me to keep things neat and tidy. Evidence of constructing tilting

Here I have included two screenshots of proof of me constructing some of my titles within my short film. I used iMovie to construct these as I felt that iMovie was an easy software to use and would make them look most effective. I wanted to include these title clips as it would give my short film a professional look and feel.
